Nutrient Solution- The Soul of Hydroponics

Nutrient solution-the sole of hydroponics system is derived by mixing stock solutions of liquid fertilizers containing NPK and Micronutrients in the desired proportion. This mix of fertilizer stock solutions in a given proportion is referred to as recipe and often a proprietary formula. The recipe is supplied to plants after diluting with irrigation water at right Electrical Conductivity (EC) and pH. There can be premixed hydroponic recipes or often a system is installed for their development and control as in most commercial hydroponic production systems. Modern systems of nutrient solution management and monitoring are now getting based on computer software, algorithms and artificial intelligence(AI).
